Charlie : It’s actually through Lourdes that I decided what I want to do in life. I have experienced the grace of Lourdes through having the opportunity whilst I’m here to think about, and reflect about what I actually want to do in my life. Before I came to Lourdes, I was working in a completely different sort of industry, and it was actually through HCPT and Lourdes that I was able to have the time to reflect and think about what it was I wanted to actually do in my life. And as a result I completely changed my career, and I am actually working with children all day and every day, so it’s taking the experience I have in Lourdes and moving it into my everyday life. I suppose, what Lourdes taught me and what it has taught me is that things always change and you need to reflect on things to be sure you are doing the right thing for you. And I suppose that for me, Lourdes has taught me that it’s Ok to make a decision and to stand by it. And money obviously is not everything, and you could be the richest person in the world but the unhappiest person in the world, and I think it’s really important to take time to reflect and to really understand what it is that you want to do and what it is that you want to pursue and to take forward, and I believe Lourdes has given me that opportunity and that's what I consider to be my grace of Lourdes and my personal experience. I think grace for me is connected to happiness, that is what I would associate it with, I think it’s about how happy you are with yourself, and the acceptance in what it’s you are doing. I thing Lourdes is a very very personal experience, people often ask me what is Lourdes like, and my personal answer is I can’t tell you, you do need to experience it for yourself, but it is something that is incredibly fascinating.
